Project Name:Shanxi Ruicheng 100MW/50.41MWh Standalone Flywheel Energy Storage Frequency Regulation Power Station

The project is included in Shanxi's first batch of new energy storage project construction list and ranks among the first power frequency regulation energy storage projects in Yuncheng City. It covers an area of 35 mu, officially named 110kV Leixing Energy Storage Power Station for station dispatching and 110kV Leizhu Line for power transmission.

As an independent energy storage station, it adopts combined flywheel energy storage and lithium iron phosphate battery technology with a total capacity of 100MW. The installed capacity of flywheel energy storage is 50MW/0.41MWh, and that of lithium iron phosphate energy storage is 50MW/50MWh.

The facility comprises flywheel energy storage area, lithium iron phosphate electrochemical energy storage area, as well as supporting comprehensive building, booster station and electric control building, providing primary frequency regulation auxiliary services for power grid.

Combining the high-frequency response of flywheel energy storage and long-duration energy storage advantage of electrochemical energy storage, it stabilizes grid frequency and optimizes power quality.
